Aerial Teacher Training

Our courses will offer further training and professional development in becoming an Aerial Silks Teacher within both beginner and intermediate levels. The courses are directed at new teachers and experienced teachers who are looking to develop or refresh their knowledge when working with children and adults in an aerial education setting. This course will cover all the fundamentals to help you become a confident and equipped aerial silks or aerial hoop teacher. You will be trained in subjects including but not limited to; rigging, lesson planning, spotting techniques, injury prevention, correct aerial technique, anatomy, aerial course material for beginner & intermediate levels, working with children and young people, and creative development.

You’ll receive a course workbook, and a downloadable format of the training which you can keep for your training and teaching after the course.

• An adequate level of previous aerial training. (I.e Inversions from a climb, footlocks from a climb, confident in the air without assistance)
• Minimum of 6 months of aerial training.
• Must be 18+ years old to join.
