kids classes

We offer kid classes from ages 6 years old – 14 years old. We have regular classes in aerial silks and aerial hoop. If your child loves hanging upside down or climbing then this is the place for them!

We welcome students who want to learn aerial for fun as a hobby or those who are wanting to continue it as a career.

Prices

Monthly fee is £40 a month for 1 child or £76 for 2 children/2 classes, set up as a standing order.
The fee covers your child’s aerial class until they decide to leave.
We have breaks in October, February & May half-terms, Christmas, Easter and summer.
The fee is a pro rata rate and you will still be charged during the holiday periods.
By signing up you are committing to attending classes for the half-term. This way we do not have distributions of children joining and leaving mid-term.
We ask for 2 weeks’ notice before the end of a half-term if your child wants to leave.

Age brackets
Kids 6 – 8 years old
Juniors 9 – 10 years old
Teens 11 – 14 years old

If you miss 3 monthly payments, the child will be removed and replaced with a child from the waiting list. We do not offer refunds for missed sessions. This includes, but is not limited to absence due to illness, holidays and injuries. We will try to offer a catch up class but this cannot be 100% guaranteed if there is no space in another class. If a teacher is unable to make a class due to sickness/illness, we will offer a refund or a catch up class.
Children's Classes: • Please tie up hair for each class. • Remember to hydrate! Bring a water bottle, we have a water cooler for refills in the studio. • Remove jewellery & watches. • Please do not wear any clothing with zips in aerial class, to protect the equipment. • No phones during class time unless allowed by class teacher. • Arrive on time, over 10 minutes late and you won't be able to participate in the class for health & safety reasons. If you are unable to join in the warm up you are in danger of injuring yourself during the class. • Parents please drop off children and pick them up at the end of class. Parent's only allowed to stay on trial session.
New students will be invited to attend a trial class before committing to a class for a half term. Parents are allowed to stay for the trial class but must drop off for the following weeks. If the child decides it does not enjoy the aerial class a drop in fee of £12 must be paid for the class and no commitment to sign up for the half term is made.

Performance opportunities

Cirque de Silk Showcase

We have an annual showcase which we hold with all of our students at Cirque de Silk. This is an opportunity for our junior students to put together a performance and perform to all their friends and family.

Events, Competitions and Festivals

We have multiple different performance opportunities for our junior performing troupe throughout the year. Junior students who are training at a high level and show a passion for performing will be selected to audition for our performing troupe to attend events throughout the year. This can be at aerial championships, day festivals and community events. If your child is interested in performing with us please still send us an email so we can look at progressing their journey into the performing troupe.
